This happened so often in the 80s and 90s I started to think it was an actual rule. Movies that have proper endings ANWAYS get sequels and movies that tell you they’re setting up for the next movie NEVER get sequels, unless they’re alreay part 2 of a trillogy. The truth is provably closer too; there is a correlation between producers/directors who spend more time thinking about the next movie rather than making THIS movie good, and being crap. It’s actually more of a trend than a rule, and some movies definitely broke it, but there you go.

For some reason as a kid i always thought that the reason you dont see the ground in the jetsons was that the earth was destroyed a while back and all the sky houses are floating on random asteroids. I chalk that up to the intros transition from the zoom into earth to orbit city looking like a confetti explosion that i confuse with the earths exploding combined with the fact that elroys school is high enough to actually be in space. Turns out the ground is shown its just you never really see a real transition shot between the ground to an orbit city house just a scene where a character is in a house followed by an already driving scene followed by a scene on the ground after a timeskip that could be any planet but never a a scene where its implied that its a car flying to and from the ground(similar to how you get a scene in 1 location followed by a driving scene followed by a scene at the destination like the flinstones but at least there theres no questions about where the places visited are at)

I saw this title and thought "duh" the Jetsons base premise is like the Flintstones that at the end of the day humans are the same no matter the time period + the problems are the same, and it's a sitcom where the jokes include things that actually may have gotten worse

So that tells you that while in the 0-500 range we have 70%, in the 500-3500 it's only another 20%, with another 10% above 3500. Another thing to have in mind is that most commercial airplanes spend most of their time at the larger heights. they're at below 500 only during accent and descent. I'm guessing that there are more commercial flights than flights with small airplanes, or other vehicles that might spend some time in the below 500ft range. Feel free to correct me on this part, I'm no expert. So in the short time a commercial plane takes to accent above and descent below 500ft, most of the plane-bird accidents happen (not quite 70% because as I mentioned, some vehicles do spend time in these heights) The 500-3500ft range, which is much larger, and planes spent much more time there, is only responsible for 20%.

I do appreciate when censorship moments actually make the content better than if they were played normally. Batman the Animated Series is a good example since I believe it once got accolades for it, it was a scene when Batgirl was thrown off a roof and landed on Commissioner Gordon's car. The original version was a third person shot which was considered too violent, the censorship was a first person shot inside of Gordon's car which to reviewers was a lot more impactful than the original.

In defense of the 60s Jetsons not having many black characters, humanity in the Jetsons did go and colonize other planets. It's possible that most of the black people left earth to found their own colony. Not any less racist but it could be an explanation. My second explanation is that the races intermarried and the colors all kind of evened out.

I feel what you are saying is true but in the opposite way. So many people nowadays choose to pretend to be minor celebrities. They make posts to "their group" "their fam", "their fans", no one specific..just a faceless mass of fake love/approval for the serotonin. People stop being people and become a concept. If you reach out to talk independently, you are weird and no one has any time for that but they have all the time in the world to repost a million memes they don't actually think about before posting or selfies of their face doing a certian expression because everyone does it. If you say something they take as negative, you are just a part of the mass that is haters. If you say anything positive, you are just part of the mass that is fans. You are never anything mroe to them than part of a faceless mass however. All individualism is stripped of anyone interacting and thus a super selfish nd apathetic dynamic is created. Self care is important to a degree but the obsession the internet has now with "self love" and attitude is a problem everyone is encouraged to be selfish and focused hedonistically on only pursuing those cheap shots of serotonin you mentioned in the most easy ways. It encourages huge amounts of immaturity, irresponsibility, tribalism and conflict. Why put in the effort to understand people and treat them like people when you can get cheap shots of validation from echo chambers or masses on snapchat by jutting your ass and lips out? It encourages a form of isolation that is also segregating and depersonalizing our social interactions. It isnt about caring and connecting..its about being popular like an angsty teenager but to the extreme and well beyond thsoe years. People are loudly proclaiming themselves bitches who don't give a shit if they are wrong and will attack anyone who thinks differently..but also doesn't give a genuine crap about their beloved "friends" either. They will put a "supportive comment" down but will they gebuinly make an effort to help someone beyond a like or donated dollar? No. They are too busy being an influencer for that.
